“ I can’t recommend this place more! Every single item we ordered was delicious! The music and the decor created such a nice ambience. Our server, Sydney, was so sweet. We came here for my moms birthday and it did not disappoint! We all had a great time and loved the food! I can’t wait to come back! ”
“ I had a fantastic experience at this Moroccan restaurant! From the warm ambiance to the authentic flavors, everything was wonderful. The dishes were rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to enjoy an authentic Moroccan dining experience! ”
“ I'd been meaning to try this place for some time. It wasn't busy on a rainy Wednesday in May around 7pm, but I can see this place getting a lot of business when tourist season picks up. We were warmly greeted by the owner when we walked in, and he did a wonderful job making sure everything was to our liking. We ordered bastilla, Brussels sprouts, chicken fassi, couscous royale with chicken, and mango mousse cake. They brought pistachio mousse accidentally, but gave us the mango mousse on the house. I also really enjoyed their passionfruit mojito, it wasn't too strong, and the flavors were a delightful blend. The food, the service, everything was excellent. I'll be back to try more of their menu. ”
“ Visiting Salem for a few days. Looking to try something new. We’ve never had Moroccan food. Did not disappoint. Food is fresh and flavorful. For starters, we had stuffed grape leaves - best I’ve ever had. We had the seafood paella (special) and couscous fazi for entrees. Drinks were delicious too. Pistachio cake for dessert-scrumptious. I highly recommend this place. ”
“ Blue Fez was just simply superb! We were here for an early dinner just after Blue Fez opened. The staff was very welcoming and the server helpful and attentive. The octopus appetizer was about the best I ever tasted and the accompanying humus and veggies were flavorful and added a good contrast. The other two main dishes we had were different, but great in their own way. Both featured a lamb shank that was tender and flavorful with couscous and a mix of vegetables. One was delicately flavored with saffron and the other was complex; both savory and sweet-ish at the same time with cumin, cardamom and coriander. Cost was modest for such fine fare. ”
“ Wow! Blue Fez delivered an unforgettable dining experience. We started with what may be the best hummus we’ve ever had—so flavorful. The Mediterranean salad was perfectly dressed, light and bursting with flavor. The highlight was the falafel couscous, served with an exquisite saffron broth that added just the right amount of richness. We were too full to enjoy dessert on-site, but the mango mousse cake we took home was simply divine. From start to finish, this was a five-star meal, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend! ”
“ I don’t even know where to begin or how to explain how astronomically mouthwatering the food is here... This was my first time coming it was myself and my boyfriend. We live in Salem and we had no idea that this gem was hidden here... The atmosphere is so stunning the beautiful Moroccan pieces on the walls and the curtains. The server Sydney was also just so effortlessly perfect at her job. I got an espresso martini and I can say it’s probably one of the best ones in the North Shore and I’m not even kidding you.... My boyfriend got a passionfruit Mojito and he was absolutely obsessed.. We didn’t expect much because we had never heard of this place but Lord, were we wrong. For an appetizer, we got the mosaic platter and it gave us a little taste of everything. For dinner, we shared the special they had for the night, a seafood paella. For dessert, we got the crepes.. I already want to go back. This is definitely a place to check out if you love ethnic foods and really good High-quality drinks in Salem... ”
“ Amazing flavors, great service and I cannot wait to go again. We shared 3 appetizers and one entree. The falafel on a bed of hummus with harissa was the best I’ve ever had. The mussels (out of the shell) were in a spicy tomato sauce that was perfect and plentiful. I do think the saffron shrimp could have been more flavorful. The final item was the chicken couscous. While the chicken was a tad overcooked, the flavors and spices were outstanding. I look forward to returning often. ”
